Affordable film culture since 1990
The Reel McCoy Film Group is a not-for-profit film society that since 1990 has been catering for people interested in cinema, particularly those who like to see timeless classics and overlooked gems at low cost.
We show Arthouse, Foreign and Classic Hollywood films.
At a screening
- Every film has a brief introduction.
- Every person gets a door prize ticket.
- After the screening, members are encouraged to stay and talk about the film over tea, coffee and biscuits.
- All screenings are not-for-profit and are for members and invited guests only.
Venue
We screen at the Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG), on the corner of London Circuit and City Square, Canberra City. Screenings are usually held monthly on the last Sunday of the month at 12:30 pm.
